In order to better serve our customers, The Printery may collect information about our customers through email and other sources. We will not however, sell or share this information with any other parties.
Shipping:
The Printery ships all boxed and custom orders via UPS Ground service unless otherwise requested by the customer. International shipping charges are added once the order is completed. For expedited or international shipping please contact The Printery at 516-922-3250.
Please let us know upon placing the order if billing and shipping address are the same and/or if parts of the order will ship to a third party.
Additional shipping instructions for custom orders should be given with proof approval
Shipping times refer to delivery times only. Boxed orders ship within two to three business days of placing the order, custom orders within three to six weeks after proof approval.
Return Policy:
The Printery will accept boxed items for refund, exchange or credit within 30 days of purchase. The item must be returned new and in resalable condition. Returned items are subject to shipping charges and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
We will confirm receipt of your return via email or phone.

We recommend you send your return using an insured carrier as The Printery is not responsible for orders damaged or lost in transit.
Bespoke/Custom orders:
Customized orders cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.
Bespoke stationery, birth announcements, invitations, wedding invites, business cards etc. are made to order. If we make an error in filling your order, we will correct it promptly. Variations resulting in matches to old orders and the matching of samples are likely to occur due to variations in dye lots of inks and lining, stamping processes and press pressure – all limitations of a handcrafted product. These variations are not considered errors and will not be considered for replacement.
Proofs:
For bespoke orders, you will be provided with a black and white digital proof or mock-up. You must carefully check these for spelling, punctuation, overall accuracy, general points of style and anything else you feel may be of pertinence to the order. Unless otherwise instructed, we will produce your order exactly as proofed. Proofs have to be approved via email sign off.
Proofs are free of charge in combination with an order. Should you cancel the order after you have received the proofs, we will charge $40 per proof.
Lead Time:
The standard lead time for bespoke orders is two to three weeks for letterpress printed products, three to five weeks for engraved products and up to six weeks for wedding invitations unless otherwise stated. Bespoke orders are put into production upon receipt of proof approval and credit card information. We strive to fill each order to this schedule.
